This is Cody
Sup, 42/M/TX here.
I’m a graphic designer and web developer for nearly 20 years now and I own my own company, Prototypo Design. I’m originally from Dallas, Texas and that’s where I lived until I was 28. That’s when I met a beautiful Mexican woman by random chance and of course had to move to Mexico to be with her.
I moved to Mexico City, got married, became a permanent resident, and lived there for 12 years. In 2020, mid-pandemic, we decided to move to Puerto Vallarta and that is where we live now. Sun, sand, and all that fun stuff.
I love football (Cowboys obviously), cheap beer, expensive coffee, Muay Thai, and cats of course!
Travel is my other passion. Having our own business where we can work from anywhere makes it easier. We started this blog because we had to learn things the hard way and have picked up lots of good tips over the years. So we’ll be sharing everything with you!

Hola Todos!! Yea I’m Kat, I’m Mexican.
I am 44 years old (actually I’ll be eternally 25…) I’m childfree, and with an amazing man who is my soulmate.
I have a degree in Business Management. I don’t know how I ended up in graphic design, lmao. I am fluent in English, Portuguese, and Japanese. I love to study languages!
I’m very sporty ever since I was 15 years old We are both Muay Thai fighters and we have been practicing for the past 10 years.
Also, I am totally obsessed with Hello Kitty! Yes, I love Hello Kitty and all my house has Hello Kitty stuff. Cody supports my hunger for Hello Kitty and I love him for that.
I LOVE CATS. I have 9, all rescued from the streets. They are beautiful and adorable and they are all my family.
Travel moves my life…I work hard to be able to travel more. I live to see new destinations and I love the idea of sharing our experiences with you guys! Believe me when I say this blog is made with so much love <3

You Can Help!
Hey, this is Kat. My stay in Egypt was bitter and complicated. With the animals there, I saw only indifference, mistreatment, sadness, and pain.
I had to do something and set out to find out how I could help. I found Zeina Emparez who runs Zee Animal Shelter. They rescue animals in desperate need from the streets of Giza and Alexandria.
To support them I built a website for them and I run some social media efforts to reach more people so that the shelter can help more cats and dogs and put them in adoption.
